Today was all sorts of lovely. Stef and I went to different pet stores to look for potential puppies. Fell in love with an English bulldog that was 3.5K :( we named him Wrinkes but that’s as far as we got.
Then at night… it was Semi-Formal for D6 at College Park. had a blast and a half :] UMBC killed it on their modern piece. so so proud of them.

lani was in town and i haven’t seen her in a year since she got transferred to california… and tonya and i seem to only see each other once every year (but in this case, it was 2)… drove back from ocean city, hit up stef’s tournament in college park for a little bit with tonya, and then trekked to dc to meet up with lani for a hot second. back to college park just in time to see stef’s team with the tournament. a very tiring but awesome day.

Went to DC with Megan, Michelle, Nikki (Megan’s little sister), and Joey. It was basically a food kind of day. We took the metro to Georgetown from Glenmont. Waited in line for Georgetown cupcakes… which was definitely worth the 1 hour wait. Then we took the metro again to U-street for some Ben’s Chili Bowl. 93.9 was there doing some kind of video or something and we got free stickers. yay!
After, went to Michelle’s house for a little bit. Chilled and watched some TV… thennn back to campus. Headed to Dan’s with Joey, Nikki and Stef. Hah, good times regardless of the fact that I basically died by the end of the night.

i figured i’d start documenting my days here and there despite not doing project 365 anymore.
i came back to maryland from the philippines on the 6th of january at 5pm. i went and worked at 8hr day the next day. i then went out with friends to baltimore that night. i guess i didn’t miss a beat…
…paid for it that upcoming weekend. stayed home all weekend, in bed… sick. felt like i was dying. i guess i caught whatever it was my dad had in the philippines. i was supposed to meet my parents that saturday in annapolis but they ended up coming to see me at my apartment since i didnt have enough strength to get out of bed. they brought me food :)

woke up at 8am today due to shane’s annoying alarm clock. she attempted to go to work but failed when i accidentally guilt tripped her. in my defense, i was really just sleep talking and she took me seriously. she ended up not going to work and we ended up just talking half asleep from 8-10am while making fun of “zebra”. then we both passed out again until 11:30 when stef decided to stomp down to the basement. had breakfast with stef, jenn, paula and shane.
in the afternoon, shane and i went to a family party where we ate tons of filipino food. kare kare ftw. thennn back to burtonsville. jenn and i ended up watching tons of lifetime movies. i caught the end of “the eye” and then watched some other scary kid movie, “within.”
stalled, stalled, and stalled some more. decided to go to the national harbor to go ice skating. waited for kat to get there… and off we go to the national harbor. too bad we got there at 10:30 and the rink closed at 10:00. sigh.
nevertheless, it was a night filled with laughter, awkwardness, and teasing. good times.

stef gave me a ride to columbia to drop my car off at the shop. then we attempted to put air in jenn’s car because she definitely drove that car on 95 with 2 flat tires… going at 80mph, which is also not very good for the car. we froze our hands off and then warmed up at panera, where we had lunch.
at night, shane, stef, jenn, friend and i went to RA sushi for jenn’s 23rd. there we met the coolest waitress ever. shane attempted to ger her number but got scared last minute. smh.
what a rollercoaster of a day. a lot of tears, but some smiles here and there as well. ended the night doing the stat project with joey and hans.

tats, shane, gabby a, gabby l, joe and i went to markoff’s haunted forest tonight in poolesville. i have to say that getting lost in the middle of the woods on the way there was actually scarier than the actual forest. we screamed a lot, saw a lot of monsters, clowns, etc. and had an overall good times. some were more scared than the others but it’s all good :] we ended the night with some foodies from the silver diner.](http://www.tumblr.com/photo/1280/photosinletters/1465369574/1/tumblr_lba5urcTFv1qaoe3b)

it was a very rough day for me today. for the past 2 nights, i’ve had a total of 7hrs of sleep since i’ve been on duty. woke up at 6am today after going to bed around 2:30/3ish am. worked the preview day for admissions, and right after that, i took a nap since i wasn’t feeling well. woke up to a slight fever and a ridiculous migraine.
these kids came over today and brought literally $70 worth of chinese food. we ate, talked, laughed until we couldnt breathe from being too full. there’s still a ridiculous amounts of chinese food leftover in the fridge. i took my meds, and after eating… felt a little better. studied till the wee hours of the night with daniel right after.
i love my friends aka my support group <3
